How do you do it?

3D-Trilogy Ice laser is a hair removal treatment, performed in a clinic using the painless 3D-Trilogyice machine, providing a comfortable and effective laser hair removal on all skin types with maximum effect at an affordable price.  Using a single hand piece which simultaneously combines the different penetration and absorption levels of wavelengths, the machine uses a safe and cool laser that gradually heats the dermis to a temperature that effectively ‘kills’ the hair follicle and resulting in permanent hair reduction.

What is involved?

During treatment, the hand piece will be used in a gliding forwards and backwards motion over the skin. The laser light safely and gently passes through the dermis allowing the laser light to be absorbed into the hair root destroying the cells so they can no longer produce hair. You may experience a warming sensation in addition to a slight pinkness to the skin. The treatment itself is virtually painless.

3D-TrilogyIce laser can practically be used anywhere there is hair, including: underarms, legs, arms, face, public area, back, chest. Little areas like toes and fingers. 

There is no downtime following the treatment, and you can return to your daily activities straight away. You may experience a slight warmth or redness in the treated areas but this is exceptional and should disappear within a few hours.

This varies for each client and a treatment program will be devised on consultation with the client. A course of 6-8 treatments is typically recommended.

The time varies depending on area being treated but typically range from 15 minutes up to 60 minutes per application.

Some results will be noticeable after first session and improve throughout the course. Results will become more noticeable after each treatment.

The laser targets only the hair follicle, leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

  • The treatment area should be shaved completely prior to treatment. Legs should be shaved no sooner than 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid irritation. Do not wax, tweeze, epilate or use chemical depilatories between laser treatments.
  • Avoid sun exposure to the treatment area, and do not use UV tanning beds at all for two weeks before treatment.
  • Do not use any topical products that cause photosensitivity (e.g. hydroxy acids, salicylic acid, retinols, and benzoyl peroxide) in the treatment areas for three days before treatment. Use a gentle cleanser and lotion on treated areas.
  • Body, facial scrubs are recommended 1 week before and after treatment.
  • Wear loose-fitting clothes on the day of treatment.
  • Bleach or depilatory creams should not be used for 2 weeks before treatment.
  • Do not exercise before treatment.
  • We will discuss after care during your initial treatment.
